As our world becomes more complex, dangerous, and in many cases isolated, the prospects of recruiting and then relocating executives have become more challenging.

This is the case both domestically and internationally. Once welcomed and seen as a resume-builder, relocation today is frequently seen as risky by both the candidate and his/her family. As executives move up the corporate ladder in multi-national companies it is seen as a benefit for continued promotions.
