Torsten Lill

Torsten Lill is a Senior Consultant at Stanton Chase Switzerland. Before joining Stanton Chase in 2024, he had been working in the retained executive search industry for several years while based in Shanghai.

His primary focus was serving DACH country clients. Focusing on 1st and 2nd level management positions within the technology and industrial sectors, he recruited candidates for Mainland China, Hong Kong, Macau, Taiwan, and Singapore.

What Torsten likes most about his work in the recruiting industry is the opportunity to work closely with people, see the latest cutting-edge technology firsthand, and deliver tangible results to his clients.

Torsten holds a degree from the University of Heidelberg and wrote his master’s thesis on China’s socio-economic transformation after Mao. A strong believer in lifelong learning, he has earned certifications in project management and business informatics, and is currently pursuing an MBA. Originally hailing from Germany, Torsten has spent more than 20 years living abroad in the United States, Switzerland, and China. He is fluent in German, English, and Chinese.

Outside of work, he likes to spend quality time with family and friends, enjoy green tea while listening to music or reading, and working out to clear his head after a long day at the office.
