Thorsten Otremba

Thorsten is a key member of the firm’s global Industrial Practice, with a focus on the Automotive sub-sector.

His main experiences include advising companies on how to adjust their senior leadership teams and the corresponding organization to meet challenging business goals in times of change. His main clients are headquartered in Germany, France, the US, and Korea, including automotive OEMs, leading Tier1 suppliers, yet also small and medium-sized firms and family-owned businesses.

Major game changers include the transformation of FMCG know-how in terms of customer focus and design thinking into the automotive OEM and Tier1 world, the set-up of forward-thinking new global sales organizations, yet also the advice on where and how to built next-generation R&D centers depending on the availability of the corresponding talent.

Thorsten also helped OEMs and suppliers to set-up and complete their compliance and legal organization. Besides, he has in-depth knowledge in the field of digital and connectivity.

Prior to joining Stanton Chase, Thorsten was Global Head of the Automotive Practice with another top executive search firm, before that running the European Automotive activities of a leading American executive search firm.

Thorsten originally started his career in purchasing and supply chain management with BMW and Siemens.

He is fluent in German and English and has a working knowledge of French.
