Shelly Gary Perkins

Shelly serves as a Director at Stanton Chase South Central. With over 20 years of professional experience, Shelly has dedicated much of her career to talent optimization and leadership development.

Prior to joining Stanton Chase, Shelly led a career consulting and business coaching practice for 12 years. This practice focused on accelerating transformation for organizations across a variety of industries, including healthcare, hotel, manufacturing, retail, and commercial services. She became adept at developing and executing strategic plans, building strong leadership teams, coaching for success, and establishing effective business processes with the right people in place to deliver results. During this time, Shelly also took ownership of a management training company that focused on developing the core competencies of management in the manufacturing sector.

Born and raised in Mississippi, Shelly studied at the University of Mississippi after enjoying a year of collegiate basketball. She graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Biology. After relocating to Nashville, she worked in the hospitality industry with Gaylord Hotels. Throughout her career, she learned the importance of hiring and retaining talented employees, as well as the consequences of not doing so. Today, she uses her expertise in talent optimization and leadership development to help build exceptional teams through executive search.

Shelly now resides in Atlanta, GA. She serves on the board of the Fellowship of Christian Athletes, is the former president of the Middle Tennessee Ole Miss Alumni Association, a member of the Southeastern Business Forum, and a Catalyst member of the Entrepreneur Organization.
