Richard Sarmiento

Richard Sarmiento is a Managing Director at Stanton Chase in Washington, D.C. Based in the nation’s capital, Richard specializes in executive search, placing top-tier leaders in aerospace, defense, and government services sectors. His expertise spans private equity-backed firms, publicly traded companies, and nonprofit organizations. He has successfully filled roles such as CEOs, presidents, general managers, and functional leadership positions in finance, operations, supply chain, sales, marketing, engineering, strategy, and corporate development.

Richard began his career as an Armor/Cavalry Officer in the U.S. Army and is a veteran of Operation Iraqi Freedom. After his distinguished military service, he transitioned to executive search, where he has built over a decade of experience with leading firms such as Raines International, Korn Ferry, and Northwind Partners.
