Mika Hassinen

Mika is a Partner at Stanton Chase’s Helsinki office. He advises Finnish and international clients on a wide variety of board, C-suite, and Director-level recruitments as well as leadership and board evaluations and succession plans, especially in the industrial, energy and natural resources, private equity, and financial services sectors.

During his 25 years of international career experience, Mika has worked for multinational industrial companies and for strategy consulting, investment banking, and private equity firms. He previously served a listed mid-sized company as Divisional Head and Country Managing Director, Group CFO, and Deputy to the CEO. Mika also served private and family-owned companies as CFO, CEO, and Board Member, and private equity portfolio and startup companies as CFO and CEO.

Mika currently serves as Board Member for two approximately €100 million turnover private companies in Finland and the Netherlands and is an entrepreneur and investor in a biocarbon startup company.

Mika holds an MSc. in economics from the Helsinki School of Economics and Business Administration in Finland and an MSc. in forestry from the University of Helsinki, Finland. Mika is fluent in English, Finnish, and Dutch. When not working, Mika enjoys golf, tennis, skiing, hunting, and spending time with his family.
