Laust Castor Lund is a Principal Consultant at Stanton Chase, responsible for creating trust with clients by ensuring a deep understanding of their needs and wants. Through close collaboration with clients and through anticipating their needs, Laust maps the markets and develops search strategies for identifying, approaching, and shortlisting potential talent and guiding clients towards a successful hiring outcome.

Laust specializes in Executive Searches for board, top, and middle management positions as well as key specialists. His experience covers most industries, including Manufacturing, Financial Services, FMCG, Life Sciences, Professional Services, and more. Additionally, Laust is certified in Executive Assessment methodologies and has a keen interest in business development and analysis in an international context.

During his career at Stanton Chase, Laust has conducted numerous C-level placements ranging across all practice groups in both national and cross-border assignments. Before joining Stanton Chase, Laust worked in Executive and Specialist Search in China, both for an independent search firm and the Danish Embassy.

Laust holds a dual M.Sc. in Public Management and Social Development from the University of Chinese Academy of Sciences and Copenhagen Business School. With a background in competitive sailing, being a part of the Danish National Team in multiple sailing disciplines, Laust spends a lot of his spare time on the water and generally being active. He has also worked as a musician and enjoys playing and listening to music. When he is not working, sailing, or enjoying music, Laust likes to read about philosophy and participate in public debates.
