Kanu Rajguru

Kanu Rajguru is a Partner at Stanton Chase Dubai, bringing over 27 years of executive search and recruitment experience. He has successfully completed searches in more than 35 countries. 

For the past 17 years, Kanu has worked closely with global, regional, and boutique banks and financial institutions within MENA, advising them on their board, C-suite, and senior executive roles. His expertise spans global banking and markets, corporate and retail banking, asset and wealth management, and the fintech space. 

Increasingly, Kanu has been involved in leadership assessment, development, succession planning, transformation, digitalization, and nationalization initiatives for numerous financial institutions. 

Before joining Stanton Chase, Kanu worked at a top-tier global executive search and leadership advisory firm, where he focused on expanding their banking and financial services practice and leadership advisory services across the MENA region. 

Prior to that, Kanu served as a Partner and Head of Banking and Financial Services at another global executive search firm for 11 years, building out the practice across MENA from their Dubai office. 

Earlier in his career, Kanu worked at a banking and financial services executive search firm, collaborating with top-tier banks across the GCC markets. 

Kanu spent 10 years of his career at one of the fastest-growing recruitment companies in the UK. There, he latterly established and led the firm’s UK executive search arm before relocating to Dubai in 2007 to set up and head its first banking and finance division covering the Middle East.

Kanu began his professional journey at a specialist banking and finance recruitment firm in London.
