Daniel CasteelManaging Director An accomplished business executive with broad-based Fortune 500 experience, Daniel has demonstrated a successful track record of helping build an international company and assisting clients in selecting the best talent for their senior leadership positions. Establishing the Nashville office of Stanton Chase in 2005, Daniel focuses on serving domestic and international clients in the consumer products and services and industrial markets. He also utilizes his organizational leadership knowledge in the functional specialties of the GM/president, CFO, CIO and VPHR positions. His other emphasis is on assisting clients in building their sales and marketing leadership teams. Prior to becoming an executive search consultant, Daniel spent 19 years with Tyco International, holding executive positions in business development, operations and human resources. As vice president of human resources for Tyco Fire & Security, he directed the strategic HR management for this $11 billion international leader in fire protection and electronic security. Serving as a key member of the mergers and acquisitions team, he was closely involved in the company's explosive expansion. Post acquisitions, he directed the organizational design and talent management programs, including driving organizational effectiveness through identification of "Best in Class" practices and deploying them globally. Daniel received his bachelor's degree in 1983 from the University of Alabama where he played football under the legendary Paul Bear Bryant. He holds a Certified Employee Benefits Specialist designation from the International Foundation of Employee Benefit Plans and the Wharton School of Business. Frank M. ParsonsDirector Frank brings more than 30 years of corporate management and leadership experience to Stanton Chase International. A seasoned executive recruiter, he has completed over 120 assignments in the non-profit and private sectors. Frank has also helped numerous non-profit organizations with capacity building, human resource management, team building, strategic planning and executive search. In the private sector, Frank has extensive experience in executive coaching in a wide range of industries, including electronic, broadcasting, manufacturing, automotive, newspaper, government and financial services. This understanding of senior level executives and the inner workings of large, multi-national corporations is invaluable as a Stanton Chase consultant. As a graduate of the American Graduate School of International Management, he joined Baker Hughes, Inc. as a management trainee in 1978. Frank held numerous marketing and human resources positions and spent several years in Singapore in these capacities. In 1987, Frank helped manage the transition of the merger between Baker International and Hughes Oil Tools and ran a career resource center. He became Vice President of Human Resources for three separate divisions of Baker Hughes, including two start-ups in the performance-drilling arena. It was during this time that he honed his background in change management, succession planning, human resources and executive coaching. In 1994, Frank established his own organizational consulting practice and has worked with more than 500 organizations in assisting their executive level leaders in their professional development and organizational capability planning efforts. In addition, he has worked with the Nashville Office of the Center for Nonprofit Management since 1995, assisting local not-for-profit organizations with leadership selection and development. Blake C. GoreAssociate Blake focuses his practice on the Healthcare and Education industries. He brings to Stanton Chase a successful background in clinical counseling, healthcare research and higher education leadership. Blake is a National Certified Counselor and a Licensed Professional Counselor in the State of Mississippi, where he began his career as a psychotherapist. While working in the mental health industry, he honed an ability to work collaboratively with a diversity of clients and issues. Along with strong investigative skills and industry insight developed through published and award-winning healthcare research, he brings to his executive search practice extensive experience in psychometrics and knowledge of group dynamics. In addition to his work in the healthcare industry, Blake also led corporate engagement strategies and career management services in both public and private institutions of higher learning. Along with solving complex organizational issues in academic affairs and driving quality student life initiatives, he served as a senior-level course instructor and founded an academic consulting business. An active member of his community, he devotes his time and expertise to a number of professional associations and community service organizations. He is a member of the Leadership Healthcare Council of Nashville and recently served on the South Central Alabama Regional Council of the Arthritis Foundation and the American Cancer Society’s Junior Executive Board. Blake is a summa cum laude graduate of the University of Mississippi where he received a Masters of Education in Counselor Education and a Bachelor of Arts. Susie SmartDirector of Research Susie has more than 12 years of experience as an independent research and candidate development consultant for leading executive search firms and corporate clients nationwide. Her focus has been diverse search and consulting assignments for senior level executive candidates in all industries. She began her career with a law firm in Enterprise, Ala., working as a paralegal. Following that she spent three years with executive recruiters TMP/Hudson Highland Group in Tampa, Fla., where she started as a generalist and then became a specialist in financial services. Earlier, Susie spent two years with the American Embassy in Kuwait working as a commercial assistant for the Department of Commerce. Her responsibilities included helping Kuwaiti business owners develop their businesses. A native of Clarkesville, Tenn., Susie received her bachelor's degree in business administration from the University of Phoenix and her associate's degree in paralegal/science from the University of Hawaii. |
