Darina PenevaManaging Director Darina has more than 15 years of professional experience in the recruiting and executive search industry. She has extensive experience in HR consulting and has also gained solid expertise in selection, competence assessment and trainings as well as in identification and development of personality and leadership potential. She joined Stanton Chase Sofia in early 2006 and during the last several years she has been actively involved in the establishment of the business in Bulgaria as well as in building up and developing the local team. Prior to Stanton Chase Darina has worked in the area of HR consulting at HILL International and Smartree Bulgaria. Darina holds an MBA degree in General Management from New Bulgarian University, Sofia and a master’s degree in Biotechnology from the University of Chemical Technology and Metallurgy, Sofia. She is a certified PI Analyst and is also accredited in Facet5 and in the A&DC Methodology. She is a part-time lecturer at the MBA program in Human Resources Management of NBU, Sofia. Dobromir MinkovSenior Consultant Dobromir started his professional career in the energy business with Shell Gas Bulgaria, part of the Royal Dutch/Shell Group, where he supervised diverse industrial projects throughout the country. Then he spent four years as а Division Manager of Oil, Gas and Chemicals Services for SGS Bulgaria, an affiliate of the Swiss-based SGS S.A., the world leader in inspection and certification. In this position, Dobromir worked on different projects in the area of business development, including laboratory outsourcing. Towards the end of 2007, Dobromir decided to alter his career path and pursue a more people-oriented business opportunity with the executive search team of Stanton Chase Bulgaria. As a Senior Consultant with the firm, Dobromir constantly meets the challenges associated with identifying the proper candidates for senior positions within Bulgaria's emerging economy. Dobromir has already successfully run projects attracting top managers and professionals as expats in Bulgaria. He took that as an opportunity to support the industrial and energy sectors in Bulgaria to reach global and EU standards of management and know-how. He also has successful placement projects for top management positions within the banking sector. Dobromir holds a Master of Science degree in Petroleum Engineering from the University of Mining and Geology, Sofia and a Master of Business Administration degree in Financial Management from the City University of Seattle in Bulgaria. Irina AndonovaSenior Consultant Irina joined the Stanton Chase team as a Senior Consultant in the Consumer Products and Services practice group. She began gaining experience in human resources management at “McDonald’s Bulgaria”. After that, Irina assumed expert and managerial roles in a Bulgarian production and trading company and then at the “Office 1 Superstores International” chain of stores. There she was responsible for recruitment and training, and later on for delivering a full package of HR business services nationwide. In 2005, Irina joined Kamenitza as Learning & Development Manager, where she delivered a variety of identifying, learning and talent management projects to ensure retention in a constantly changing environment. Kamenitza was owned by the global beer leader InBev (later Anheuser-BuschInBev), and was recently acquired by CVC Capital Partners – one of the world’s leading private equity and investment advisory firms. Irina is a graduate of Sofia University, with a Bachelor’s degree in Russian Philology with a specialization in Pedagogy. She loves playing with her young daughter and enjoys meeting friends. Metodi TerzievSenior Consultant Metodi joined the Bulgarian office of Stanton Chase as a Senior Consultant in the Technology Practice Group after gaining substantial experience in the recruitment industry with Kommlink Group. As an Account Manager for the IT and Telecommunication market in Germany and the UK, he was directly responsible for blue chip companies like Telefonica, Vodafone, Siemens, Accenture, Tech Mahindra and Sapient. Prior to moving into executive search, Metodi worked as a Financial Consultant for ING Life Insurance and as an Intern for the Bulgarian Stock Exchange. Metodi graduated from the University of Basel, Switzerland with a Bachelor Degree in Economics and Business with specialization in Economics and Finance. Furthermore, he was actively engaged in the largest students’ organization AIESEC, working on a voluntary basis as Local Committee President in Basel. Metodi devotes most of his spare time to a variety of sport activities, including football, basketball, table tennis and swimming. He also enjoys travelling, meeting new people and listening to music – especially live concerts. Metodi is fluent in German and English and has knowledge in French. Industry Practice Expertise:

Biliana DjambaskaResearch Associate Seeking new challenges in the area of human resources and recruitment, Biliana became a Researcher at Stanton Chase International Bulgaria in June 2006. She has been gaining experience and in-depth knowledge in the Consumer Products and Services, Technology and Financial Services business sectors. Biliana holds a BA degree in Business Administration from the University of National and World Economy, Sofia. Human Resources is the area she was willing to pursue a career in ever since she enrolled in university. For the last 5 years Biliana has been working in the HR area, starting with an internship program at Nestle, Bulgaria. There she faced the challenges in recruiting, selection and training. The internship program ended with an offer for a trainee position with the HR department at the company. Biliana further assisted in personnel recruitment and appraisal and was also involved in induction trainings. Prior to joining Stanton Chase Sofia, Biliana worked as an HR Assistant at Chipita Foods, Bulgaria. Biliana enjoys spending her free time with friends. Bissera StoyanovaResearch Associate Bissera joined the Stanton Chase team in Sofia as a Researcher specializing in the following sectors: Industrial, Natural Resources & Energy, Logistics and Transportation. Bissera started her development in the human resources area in the internship programme with BTC/Vivatel. In 2010 and 2011, she worked as a training coordinator for Adecco Bulgaria, mainly on two training projects within the Operational Programme for Human Resources Development. She has also had the opportunity to gain some experience in the area of logistics while working for Hewlett Packard. Bissera graduated from New Bulgarian University with a bachelor’s degree in Psychology and a master’s degree, to be completed in 2012, in Human Resource Management and Development. Elena RusanovaResearch Associate Elena became part of the Stanton Chase International team in Bulgaria as a Research Associate in the Technology Practice Group. She is also in charge of the database search management system, File Finder. Prior to joining Stanton Chase, she worked as a technical assistant at SIS Industries, a company from the FMCG sector. There she had the chance to begin and develop her experience in HR by taking part in the recruitment and selection process. Elena graduated from the University of National and World Economy in Sofia with a bachelor’s degree in Economic Psychology. She is currently studying for her Master’s degree in Human Resource Management (to be completed in 2012). Mariana IvanovaSenior Consultant Мariana has been a senior consultant at Stanton Chase since September 2008. She is in charge of all financial and accounting matters of the Sofia office. She has graduated from the University of National and World Economy and has occupied the same position in other companies as well – Ariana AD, Danone AD, IPOMA AD. Mariana spends her free time with her daughter.

Yuliana PopovaPR & Marketing Coordinator Yuliana has been a part of the Stanton Chase Sofia team since October 2007. Apart from the general day-to-day office routines she is also responsible for the marketing and PR coordination of the company, including advertising and branding, event organization, business development activities and networking with key business associations. Yuliana has a BA in English and American Studies from Sofia University. After graduating she worked as a scholarship coordinator at New Bulgarian University under the direction of the Vice-Rector for Education. |
