Lucas Schellenberg

Lucas was one of the original founders and Managing Partner of Stanton Chase Zurich in 2001. He rejoined the firm as Partner in May 2007, after leaving Stanton Chase in 2005 to establish a local executive search boutique. Prior to his departure, he was Stanton Chase's Global Practice Leader for Advanced Technology. Lucas specializes in the execution of searches for management positions and board appointments.

After working as a computer scientist in the Swiss Bank's computer centre at Telekurs AG, Lucas began his executive search career in 1990, when he was trained by some of the current Senior Partners with Heidrick & Struggles International Inc. (HSII). As of 1992, he was Managing Director of Inplace AG, an executive search firm which, at the time, was owned by partners of HSII. Inplace specialized in searches that focused on key functional positions and management in the area of Advanced Technology. By 1998, the company started coaching numerous start-up companies in all HR-related matters and became well known as one of Switzerland's leading executive search firms. Lucas then co-founded Venturix Business Services AG in 2000. The company acted as a business accelerator for Swiss start-ups. As a Human Resources Executive he counselled clients on all matters related to Management Staffing.

Lucas completed his education in business management. Fluent in German and English, Lucas is also knowledgeable in Italian.

Dieter Hagmann

Dieter, of Swiss origin, has an extensive track record in international management positions. He has been assigned to overseas appointments and spent many years outside Switzerland both in the Middle and Far East. His broad exposure to finance and administration, as well as IT in industry, trade and consulting, contributes to further build Stanton Chase’s competencies within Switzerland’s industrial and advanced technologies sectors.

After graduating from Business School, he spent his first years with a large business consultancy firm, specializing in organizational and system development. He was then trained with at the head office for a major pharmaceuticals corporation, followed by a five year assignment to the Middle East as CFO. Dieter then moved on to a leading international trading/retail organization to act as COO in its Far Eastern procurement operation, followed by an assignment to reshape and upgrade the organization’s worldwide IT systems from corporate head office. Over the past ten years, Dieter has held various CIO positions within a major international group for building materials, also serving on the corporate CIO board.

Dieter holds a BSc in Economics from the University of Applied Science Northwestern Switzerland and has received extensive senior executive education at University of St. Gallen as well as IMD Lausanne. Fluent in German and English, Dieter also speaks French.

Daniela Wyss

Daniela joined Stanton Chase Zurich as a Consultant to establish the Consumer Products and Services practice group in Switzerland. Having experienced various sales and consulting challenges, her engagement in executive search allows her to marry her in-depth sales and marketing know-how with her passion for customer acquisition and genuine interest in people’s wishes and motivations.


Prior to joining Stanton Chase, Daniela worked as a National Account Manager with Coca-Cola, where she was responsible for Switzerland’s entire discount channel. She gained extensive experience as a National Account Manager with Xerox, strengthening partnerships with two of the largest Swiss Banks. As an International Account Manager for Hiestand, Daniela worked in the airline industry and reshaped the company's worldwide subsidiary and franchise partner network. Acting as a Key Account Manager on behalf of Nestlé, Daniela successfully negotiated long-term business plans with several retailers in Switzerland. Her management consulting experience has included key media and pharmaceutical projects. She has been active in customer acquisition and key account management set-up as part of a marketing team.


Daniela graduated from the University of St. Gall (lic.oec.HSG) and completed an MBA in international management, with highest honors. Fluent in German, English and French, she lives in the French part of Switzerland.

Stefan W. Hofer

Stefan, a Swiss citizen, brings many years of senior international Human Resources management experience with prestigious, multinational blue chip companies. In 2006, he decided to found his own company in the field of Human Capital Development and Executive Search Consultancy. After three years as an independent consultant with international assignments, Stefan joined Stanton Chase Zurich as a partner in 2009. In addition to contributing to the further development of the Consumer Products and Services practice in Switzerland, Stefan has also established a business portfolio within the Natural Resources and Energy practice group.


Stefan began his professional career as a Managing Partner with a Swiss personnel leasing company. He would later launch his career internationally in the early nineties when he joined Rothmans International Ltd (incl. Dunhill, Cartier, Pall Mall, Rothmans), as Human Resources Manager Central and Eastern Europe. In this role, Stefan was entrusted with the task of developing the markets of the former East Bloc after the fall of the iron curtain. Stefan would later be appointed as Head of Corporate Human Resources at the Marc Rich Group, a well-known international Commodity and Finance Trading Group in Zug, Switzerland. His main responsibility was to set up and manage a global Human Resources department, covering 23 subsidiaries, branches and field offices around the world. In 2002 he moved to the Swatch Group Ltd., the world’s largest watch company, producer and marketer of 18 world-famous watch brands (incl. Omega, Swatch, CK, Tissot, Longines, Rado, Breguet). As a Group Human Resources Executive, Stefan directed and partially established the regions of North and Latin America, Australia, the Middle East, the UK, Scandinavia and Greece. After a major restructuring of the Group Human Resources Department, he subsequently headed the “Competence Centre Executive Search”, the Swatch Group’s internal task force for key recruitments worldwide.


Stefan holds BA's in Law, Economy, Political Science and Philosophy from the University of Bern and the Free University of Berlin, as well as a Master of Human Resources (M.Sc. HRM) from the International Business School Zurich, ZfU.
