Nicholas WyldeManaging Director Nicholas Wylde joined the London office of Stanton Chase International in 1993 after spending a number of years with two other mid-sized executive search firms. Prior to entering executive search in 1988, Nick pursued a hotel management career in Bermuda, North America and England, where he owned and operated a 16th century coaching inn. He possesses diplomas in Hotel Administration from Cornell University and the American Hotel & Motel Association, and is a past member of the Hotel & Catering Institutional Management Association. Although Nick has a particular interest in the international hotel sector, he works extensively for consumer services clients that include general retailing, leisure, hospitality and travel as well as within the consumer packaged goods sector. He manages corporate and board appointments throughout North America, Europe and South East Asia across all management functions. Nicholas works out of our London West End Office. George F. CrossDirector George is currently a Director of the London office, having previously been Managing Director and is a member of the Global Board as Vice Chairman Finance and Administration. He is a qualified accountant and after a successful career in industry with British Steel Corporation and William Baird plc moved into executive search. George has been with Stanton Chase International since it was founded in 1990. Prior to that he was with Korn/Ferry International. He has a particular focus on world class engineering and manufacturing groups as well as an extensive knowledge of construction and natural resources & energy. George manages executive search assignments at group board and divisional director level in all management functions in the UK, Continental Europe, North America and Asia Pacific. Freddie de LisleDirector
Freddie became an executive search consultant in 1984 subsequently joining a City of London based firm where he built his insurance practice. He founded his own firm in 1989. He leads the insurance and life and pensions practice. His clients include some major insurance groups - both underwriting and broking. He has experience of both senior general management and technical positions. He has done assignments in London, Continental Europe, USA and Latin America. His early career included founding a specialist silk screen printing company which is still a supplier to the UK & USA fashion trade and also worked with Westinghouse Electric as International Co-ordinator for its specialist international project finance unit based in the UK. He is the owner of a family farming and food business in the East Midlands. Freddie has an MA from Oxford University and speaks fluent French and Spanish. Stuart PrenticeDirector
Stuart is a Director of the Stanton Chase insurance practice based in their London offices. He has spent the last 10 years working in Executive Search with a particular focus on insurance industry clients, specializing in the non life and life arenas. He has managed executive search assignments for a range of leading European, UK and International insurance businesses, placing key insurance personnel across a range of sectors. Stuart has a risk and insurance background, starting his career with a London market Insurer from university, and in 1990 joining the broker Jenner Fenton Slade. He worked with a predominantly European client base placing insurance and reinsurance contracts with London market insurers. Since 1999 he has worked in the executive search industry initially dealing with risk management professionals, then specialising with actuarial and financial risk clients. Paul WoodhouseDirector
Paul started his career in insurance in 1968. He progressed through several senior roles in treaty reinsurance broking. He became Managing Director of JH Minet Reinsurance Brokers, one the leading reinsurance brokers in the world, in 1988. As Managing Director he was responsible for production, placement and technical support for Worldwide Treaty Reinsurance business managing a team of over 50 in London, North America and Australia. Following Minet’s acquisition by Aon Group of Chicago he joined Ballantyne McKean & Sullivan, a leading independent Lloyd’s specialist broker as Managing Director of specialist retrocessional reinsurance. In 2001 Paul joined up with Freddie de Lisle to build the executive search practice of Torus partnership, which has now become Stanton Chase International’s London City insurance practice. Paul’s background in the insurance and reinsurance industry has given him extensive global connections in these two sectors. He is intimately involved in the insurance broking and reinsurance underwriting worlds. Born in London, he has travelled extensively in the English speaking world. Simon MansfieldExecutive Consultant Simon Mansfield has spent the last twelve years working in Executive Search after a career in international banking that spanned over 20 years. During this time, he worked with Chase Manhattan Bank, Banque Paribas and Standard Chartered Bank, at various times based in London, New York, Hong Kong and Singapore. He was formerly an Executive Consultant with Garner International, having previously been Chief Executive of The Consulting Partnership, an international financial services search firm based in Singapore, where he helped to grow the company to over forty employees in Europe and Asia. He was global account manager to the firm's largest account and was directly responsible for assignments in the UK, US, Asia, Middle East and Africa. The majority of his search experience includes recruiting for senior positions in Capital Markets, Treasury, Risk Management and Economic Analysis, particularly in the illiquid and developing markets around the globe. Shaun McCarthySenior Consultant After an early sales and marketing career in IT with Burroughs, Shaun entered recruitment in 1990, since when he has held senior management positions with several major search and selection companies. After setting up and running a successful new division of the Norman Broadbent organisation, he was appointed Chief Executive of Jonathan Wren, a leading City Financial recruitment company, in 1998. In 2003 he joined forces with Freddie de Lisle as a partner in Torus, delivering Executive Search assignments in the insurance sector, since when he has specialised in the retail and provincial insurance markets. Shaun holds a Master’s degree in Geography from the University of St. Andrews. A native Englishman, he also speaks Spanish. Shaun works out of our London City Office. Industry Practice Expertise:

Greg MorganConsultant Greg is a member of the team that is focused on the construction and business services sectors within Stanton Chase London's Industrial Practice. Prior to joining Stanton Chase, Greg worked for HSBC Bank within its business banking sector. He was then employed as a Project & Bid Manager with Cyril Sweett, a construction consultancy, within its Private Finance Initiative (PFI) team. Earlier in his career, he served 11 years in the British Army as an officer in the Light Infantry. During this time he was deployed to Northern Ireland, the Balkans, the Baltic States, East & West Africa and the Middle East. Robert LeRoyResearch Director Robert is a history and philosophy graduate from Cabrini College in Philadelphia. He has been involved in research within the executive search industry for the past 13 years, having previously worked for Carre Orban AT Kearney, and Ray & Berndtsen. Robert is very much a generalist but has undertaken work in the Consumer Products and Services, professional services, high-tech and energy sectors. Robert joined the London office of Stanton Chase International in the summerof 2000. Robert works out of our London West End Office. |
